DynamicHR has assembled a task-force to address the many employment-related issues facing employers in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. The team at DynamicHR is continuously monitoring new COVID-19 information and understands that this is a difficult time for you, your employees, and this country, but know that you are not alone.

The task-force has created a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) and resources document which may answer many of your questions during this time. The document also contains sample letters to employees regarding different events related to COVID-19’s impact on your business, such as a Furlough Letter, a Salary Reduction Notification and an Employee Paid Time Off Request form. Please check back often as it is being updated frequently, and we will continue to share updated information and sample letters with you.

For those of you looking for more information on the The Michigan auto insurance reform law, we created a document explaining FAQs and what your next steps should be.

A Michigan-based FAQs document specific to Michigan employers and employees has also been created along with a cheat sheet on the Families First Act (FFCRA) and CARES Act. The cheat sheet explains the Who What When and Tax Credit associated with the Families First Act and the Pandemic Unemployment Assistance, Direct Payment to Individuals, Payroll Taxes and Payroll Tax Credit under the CARES Act.

As states begin to re-open, employers can also find general considerations in a Return to Work Checklist and Return to Work Template document within this resources folder. Employers must continue to follow the CDC, WHO, and state guidance to maintain a safe workplace while also complying with multiple employment laws. These documents include general considerations for employers as well as a template to send to employees planning on returning to the office.

Additional resources, including a state-by-state reference guide on Unemployment Insurance (UI) information for COVID-19 claims and another document on maintaining mental wellness during quarantine provided by insurance professionals at Zywave, Inc., are available within the folder below.

You can contact DynamicHR on any of these topics or with any additional questions you may have.

We are in this together, and we will get through this together.
